New for 2017 Mirage
The Mitsubishi Mirage returns for 2017 with a long list of renovations including updates to the exterior and interior design, and a slight increase in horsepower.
Summary of 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage
The Mirage is Mitsubishi's very fuel efficient compact hatchback. Smaller and more affordable than the Lancer, the Mirage is now offered as a sedan called the Mirage G4.
Overview of 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage
The newly updated 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage is powered by a 1.2-liter I-3 engine that produces 78 hp and 74 lb-ft of torque. There is a choice of two transmissions, a 5-speed manual and a CVT that send power to the front wheels. The Mirage manages to get an impressive 37/43 mpg city/highway with the CVT and 33/41 mpg city/highway with the five-speed manual transmission. It is available only as a hatchback but Mitsubishi now offers its sedan sibling, the G4.
The 2017 Mirage's upgraded interior is now available with an updated instrument cluster, new steering wheel with decorative bezel, and a high-gloss, piano-black shift panel. The exterior now looks sleeker than before with a new front fascia with a chrome upper/lower grille, LED tail lamps, available HID automatic on/off headlights, available fog lamps, and an optional Rockford Fosgate 300-watt sound system.
